Mobi Weld™ is a full power
DC welder, 3,000 Watt 110 Volt DC generator and a battery boost charger,
all powered by a Bosch alternator.
The Mobi Weld™ kit adds a compact 110v alternator, a power rectifier
and a digital controller for mobile welding, charging and operation
of DC compatible power tools.
There are three models available, Standard, Professional and Industrial,
that allow you to outfit nearly any motor vehicle. The standard utility
vehicle model is available exclusively from Essex Manufacturing and
is currently adapted for the Kawasaki Mule.
With a direct current arc welding capability equivalent
to 120, 180 or 240 amps, the Mobi Weld™ units easily weld stainless
steel, mild/high carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminum, cast iron and
bronze.
The 110 volt Direct current regulated power will power tools and lights
up to 3000 watts. Take your mobile workshop anywhere your vehicle can
go and have grinders, drill saws, impact heaters, halogen lights, cooking
appliances, air compressors and more on site.
Alternator
The specially designed Bosch 110v alternator
produces power for both battery charging and, welding and power tool operation.
It is an industrial grade unit and includes mounting brackets, drive belt,
a speed-setting throttle and all cabling. The 110v alternator generates
maximum welding amperage equivalent to 200 amps at 100% duty cycle.
Power/Control
Unit
Mobi Weld™ is carefully crafted from top quality electronic
components. Each unit is tested extensively on simulation boards before
shipping. Five rectifiers, two step-up transformers, and a printed circuit
board all work in unison to provide reliable and long lasting performance.
Welding
Direct current arc welder utilizes solid state technology for
reliable, continuous power at up to 240 amps. The unit includes 25' of
#4 welding cables; Tweco Weding plugs, Stinger and Ground clamp. Battery
terminal clamp for charging 6 to 48 volts.
Warranty
Because Mobi Weld™ so well crafted and tested, we can warrant
the 110v alternator for one year and the power unit for five years. For
